Rose Bud Picture-ghan

I made this for a dear friend/co-worker/fellow crocheter...she's made me several things over the years and I've been focusing on "my list" for my family...I now have that caught up and wanted to make her something. I know she loves roses so I got the idea to design this and now I'm finally finished!!!

Really pretty ghan. Great job! I'm a fellow Raveler (Craftybegonia there). Nice to find your blog.

How did you make the picture in this? I want to make pictures in my next afghan but I'm not sure how to go about it just yet. Is it easy? That is really awesome! Nice job!:)

Thank you Lacey...I use this site http://www.microrevolt.org/knitPro/ to graph a picture that I want to use and each square equals 1 sc and I just go back and forth starting at the bottom of the pic...its very easy to do, you just have to find your own method and rhythm...my advice is to find an easy picture with the less color changes as possible until your comfortable with doing one. =)
